BeatViz Workflow 1.0 vs Workflow 2.0: Which Create Path to Use

Both paths start on BeatViz Workflow. Quick Create · 1.0 is the original guided Workflow. Studio Create · 2.0 is Workflow 2.0: Music Analysis, an editable storyboard, per-clip keyframes, then MiniMax H3 Max video.

They share a song upload and a waveform range. They do not share tasks, models, or Lip Sync behavior.

What stays the same

  • Entry URL: /create.
  • One uploaded audio file: MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC or WAV, up to 200 MB. No pasted Suno, Spotify or YouTube links.
  • Waveform selection of at least 10 seconds. The selected range is what the video covers.
  • Aspect ratio 16:9 or 9:16.
  • Drafts appear under Creations → Drafts in the Workflow list. Studio cards show a Studio badge.
  • Credits come from the same account balance. Failed generations that already charged are refunded under the documented refund rules.

What Workflow 2.0 adds

  • A four-step workspace: Music Analysis → Storyboard → Keyframe → Video.
  • Lyric Captions you can inspect on a waveform before scenes exist.
  • An editable storyboard: scenes contain clips; you can drag cuts, split, delete and @mention characters.
  • An opening keyframe for every clip. Generate Videos stays off until those stills are ready.
  • MiniMax H3 Max clips at 768P or 1080P (chosen on Keyframe).
  • Up to five uploaded characters (Workflow 1.0 allows two, including presets).
  • A lookbook Visual Style catalog. Empty style is None, not a default cinematic look.
  • A timeline monitor on the Video step, with Image / Video clip editor tabs and Replace from history.

What Workflow 2.0 does not include

  • Content Mode: there is no Storytelling, Singing, Dancing or Abstract picker.
  • Standard / Pro / Premium and Veo / Kling model cards.
  • Lip Sync, automatic or manual.
  • Workflow 1.0 first-frame / end-frame / Standard Reference tabs.
  • Free-plan access. Studio Create is paid exclusive.
  • Converting a 1.0 task into a 2.0 task, or opening one product inside the other.

For Singing lip sync, stay on Workflow 1.0 or use Editor LipSync.

FAQs

Can I convert a Workflow 1.0 task into Workflow 2.0?

No. Create a new Studio task from /create. Media from a 1.0 task does not import into /create-2/[taskId].

Which one costs more credits?

Studio Create usually costs more for the same song length because video is MiniMax H3 Max at 20 credits/s (768P) or 40 credits/s (1080P), plus analysis, storyboard and keyframe charges. Workflow 1.0 Standard Fast is a lower-cost path. Compare live estimates on the start form; see Credits & Costs for 2.0 rates.
