BeatViz Workflow Tutorial: Turn a Song Into an AI Music Video

BeatViz Workflow helps you create an AI music video from an uploaded song. Instead of assembling shots manually on a timeline, you choose an audio section, set the creative direction, review a scene-by-scene storyline and first frames, then generate the video clips and compose the finished MP4.

Start creating: Open BeatViz Workflow.

Workflow is not Editor. Workflow creates a separate task through /create. BeatViz Editor uses its own project and editable timeline; a Workflow task does not automatically become an Editor project. AI Director is also a separate creation path.

New to Workflow? Follow these guides in order:

  1. Create Your First Workflow Task — upload audio, select the section you want, and start the guided process.
  2. Choose a Content Mode — Storytelling, Singing, Dancing or Abstract.
  3. Choose a Generation Mode — understand Standard, Pro and Premium, their clip lengths and resolutions.
  4. Add Characters — upload, select or generate up to two character references.
  5. Choose a Visual Style — combine an emotional direction with a visual look.

Plan your video before spending video-generation credits

After you select Generate Video, Workflow analyzes your audio and guides you through two decisions. It does not immediately deliver a finished video.

The complete Workflow process

  1. Upload a supported song and choose a section of at least 10 seconds.
  2. Select Content Mode, Mode, clip length, resolution, aspect ratio and optional character/style presets.
  3. Click Generate Video. Workflow analyzes the audio and presents three creative directions.
  4. Select a direction, edit and confirm the storyline.
  5. Workflow prepares each scene's video prompt, creates the task and generates first frames. Image-generation credits are charged here.
  6. Review every first frame and prompt. Fix failed or unsuitable frames.
  7. Select Generate All Videos or render individual scenes. Video credits are charged at this stage; Singing also includes automatic lip-sync charges.
  8. When every scene has a video, select Compose to create the final MP4.

Workflow or Editor: which should you use?

Choose Workflow when you want the music analysis, directions, storyline and shot planning to guide the process. Choose Editor when you need a manual video timeline where you can rearrange or trim clips yourself. Workflow does not provide the Editor timeline.

Frequently asked questions

Can I paste a Suno, Spotify or YouTube URL?

No. Workflow requires a supported audio file uploaded from your device: MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC or WAV, up to 200 MB.

Does Generate Video make the entire music video immediately?

No. It starts the guided planning process. After choosing a creative direction and confirming a storyline, Workflow creates first frames. You start video rendering separately, then use Compose for the final MP4.

Can I make singing and dancing videos?

Yes. Singing and Dancing are different Content Modes. Singing includes an automatic lip-sync step after video generation. Dancing focuses analysis and prompts on motion and rhythm, without automatic lip sync.

Where can I see my incomplete projects?

Open Drafts for created tasks, or select a recent draft on the Workflow start page.
