How to Create a BeatViz Workflow 2.0 Studio Task From an Audio File

A Workflow 2.0 task begins with a song, the exact section you want on screen, and Studio Create · 2.0. The start form decides aspect ratio, optional concept, style and characters. After Start Creating, you work in the four-step workspace: Music Analysis, Storyboard, Keyframe, Video.

Step 1: Open Workflow and choose Studio Create · 2.0

Visit BeatViz Workflow. At the top of the music form, select Studio Create · 2.0. The other card, Quick Create · 1.0, is Workflow 1.0.

Studio Create is paid exclusive. On a free plan the 2.0 card stays locked. Clicking it opens Pricing instead of switching. After you have a paid plan, select 2.0, then continue with the same upload form.

Step 2: Upload your music and select a section

Upload or drag in one audio file from your device. Supported formats are MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC and WAV, up to 200 MB. Workflow 2.0 does not accept pasted Suno, Spotify or YouTube links.

Use the waveform to choose the section the video should cover. You must select at least 10 seconds. BeatViz trims that range and uses the trimmed file as the Studio task audio. Paid Studio users are not limited to the free-plan 15-second cap.

Start Creating stays unavailable until an audio file and a valid range are selected.

Switch to Studio Create · 2.0, upload a song, select at least 10 seconds, and click Start Creating.

Step 3: Set aspect ratio, concept, style and characters

Before starting, set:

  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 for landscape or 9:16 for vertical video. This is stored on the Studio task and used for keyframes and MiniMax clips.
  • Video Concept (optional): describe the subject, mood and action, or leave it as None.
  • Visual Style (optional): pick a lookbook style, or leave None.
  • Characters (optional): upload up to five reference photos. Names use letters and digits only.

Studio Create hides Workflow 1.0 Content Mode, Standard / Pro / Premium, and the 1.0 credits tooltip. 768P / 1080P is chosen later on the Keyframe step, not on this form. See Concept, Style & Characters.

The number next to Start Creating is a full-pipeline estimate (analysis, storyboard, keyframes and 768P video for the selected length). That total is not charged on this click.

Step 4: Click Start Creating

Select Start Creating. BeatViz:

  1. Uploads and trims the selected audio.
  2. Creates a Studio task.
  3. Charges 2 credits for Music Analysis.
  4. Opens /create-2/[taskId] on the Music Analysis step.

If you are not logged in, BeatViz asks you to sign in. Studio Create still requires a paid plan after login.

What you will see next

The workspace header shows the song title, account Credits, and this task's Credit Usage. The step rail is Music Analysis → Storyboard → Keyframe → Video. Analysis starts automatically for a new task: a waveform and Captions table fill in as lyrics arrive. Review the captions, then choose Generate Scenes. See Music Analysis.

Before you begin: checklist

  • You are on a paid plan so Studio Create · 2.0 can be selected.
  • The file is one of the five supported audio formats and no larger than 200 MB.
  • The audio selection is at least 10 seconds.
  • You chose the intended 16:9 or 9:16 output.
  • Character names, if you added any, use letters and digits only.
