BeatViz Editor Tutorial: Create an AI Music Video From Start to Finish
BeatViz Editor lets you turn a song into a music video using AI-generated visuals and an editable video timeline. You can create each shot manually in Classic or describe the shots you want in Chat. Both modes work inside the same project, so the images, videos, and timeline remain available when you switch modes.
This help center takes you through the complete process: uploading a song, planning scenes, generating images and video, arranging clips, adding lip sync, and exporting an MP4.

Plan your music video
- Storyboard and Prompts: Plan Scenes for Your Song — analyze the song, generate a shot-by-shot story, and prepare editable image and video prompts.
- Generate AI Images in Classic Editor — make visual references and first frames, with model and aspect-ratio options.
- Generate AI Videos in Classic Editor — turn prompts and optional first or last frames into footage.
Assemble and finish your video
- Edit Your Music Video on the Timeline — insert, reorder, trim, replace, or remove completed video clips.
- Add AI Lip Sync to Timeline Clips — match a character's mouth movements to the corresponding section of your song.
- Export Your AI Music Video as an MP4 — combine your timeline and original song into the final file.

Classic or Chat: which should you use?
Choose Classic when you want direct access to the image and video generators, Storyboard, Prompts, and manual timeline controls. Choose Chat when you prefer describing a shot in natural language and reviewing a confirmation card before generation begins. Neither choice creates a separate project. On phones, Editor opens Chat instead of the Classic interface.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to generate every scene in one mode?
No. Classic and Chat share the same project's generated images, videos, and timeline. Switch between them on a desktop or tablet as needed.
Can I upload a song link from Suno, Spotify, or YouTube?
No. Upload a supported audio file instead: MP3, AAC, M4A, FLAC, or WAV, up to 200 MB.
Can I put AI images directly on the video timeline?
No. Images stay in the material library. Generate a video from an image if you want to use that shot on the timeline.
Where do I start creating?
