How BeatViz Workflow Analyzes Music and Suggests Creative Directions
After you click Generate Video, Workflow does more than create a generic prompt from your song. It prepares an audio-driven concept and asks you to choose a direction before it generates a storyline and first frames.
What happens immediately after Generate Video?
- Your uploaded audio is prepared, converted to MP3 when necessary and trimmed to the selected waveform range.
- Workflow analyzes the chosen audio section. You will see a streaming analysis interface as the results become available.
- Workflow normally prepares three creative direction cards.
- The process pauses for you to select one direction.
The button does not immediately start rendering every video clip. It also does not deduct the full video-generation estimate at this early step.
What is included in each direction card?
Every direction includes a title, Concept, World, Style, Mood and Subject. Read all of these before choosing. For example, a direction may have an interesting Mood but place the singer in a World that does not suit the song.
Ask yourself: Does this concept make sense for the lyrics or musical atmosphere? Does it give the same character a coherent role? Can it work across the number of scenes implied by the clip duration?
Step 1: Compare the three concepts
Read each direction as a proposed creative brief rather than a final shot list. If you supplied a creative description or Style preset, check whether those ideas are reflected in the cards.
Step 2: Select the creative direction
Choose the card that best matches the video you want. This choice sends Workflow into storyline generation, which is the next opportunity to edit the narrative before making images.
Step 3: Regenerate directions (paid feature)
Paid users can use Regenerate to request three new direction choices. You may provide a short preference to steer the new concepts—for example, “keep the singer on stage and avoid fantasy locations.” Free users who attempt this action see an upgrade prompt.
If direction generation fails, Workflow may skip the normal three-card selection step. This is an exception, not the expected guided path.
What happens after you choose?
Workflow writes a scene-by-scene storyline for the chosen concept. You can edit the story before confirming. Only after confirmation does it create the task and generate first frames. This distinction matters if you leave the page early: there is no resumable task ID while you are still choosing a direction or editing an unconfirmed storyline.
FAQs
Can I choose a direction after the video is already rendered?
Creative-direction selection is part of the planning stage before video rendering.
Does Regenerate cost the same as video rendering?
The supplied product guide establishes that direction regeneration is paid-only; it does not specify an independent credit amount. Follow the in-product UI rather than assuming a rate.
Where do I edit the scenes?
